A one day training course
Background
This course has been developed in support of the NHS policy requirements around improving quality and productivity in the NHS. The purpose is to provide staff with responsibility for innovation in the NHS, with the knowledge and skills required to support their organization in 'unlocking' innovation to enhance quality, productivity and patient care.
Who is organising this event
Research and Innovation Ltd, in collaboration with the NHS R&D Forum. The opportunity for acute and primary care trust managers to meet and discuss issues across a health economy is of particular value. The October 2010 programme will be further developed in response to new policy initiatives as they unfold.
Who should attend?
Directors and senior managers with responsibility for innovation in the NHS. R&D Managers who are considering expanding their role to include innovation
The Programme will
- Explore the relationship between innovation, quality and productivity
- Improve understanding of the different innovation domains and pathways
- Provide delegates support in developing a business case for innovation
A central theme will be 'embedding innovation into the culture of the NHS'.

The course will be held at Warwick Conference Centre, easily accessible by rail, road or air, this venue is centrally located.

Preparation
