Leading and Delivering Research & Innovation in the NHS

This course has been developed in response to national policy initiatives which will require every NHS organisation to review their strategies around research and innovation. As spending is reined in the NHS must find ways to increase quality without raising costs.  The Chief Executive of the NHS has stated that innovation is the answer.

Who is organising this event?

Research and Innovation Ltd, in collaboration with the NHS R&D Forum. The need for this course and the content has been tested over two previous events with fantastic feedback from attendees. The opportunity for acute and primary care trust managers to meet and discuss issues across a health economy is of particular value. The September 2010 programme will be further developed in response to that feedback and as policy initiatives unfold.

Who should attend?

Directors and senior managers with responsibility for research or innovation in the NHS.
